Robin Hood and the Poor Hunter

It was noon in summer time and all the forest was  asleep. The sky was clear and bright with sunlight. All  nature seemed so quiet and lonely. The rabbits were in  their holes, the birds were in their nests, the deer and  all other animals were scared away. There were thick  bushes all along the path across the forest. People did  not often come this way so it was the loneliest part of  the Barnisdale Forest.
